as health, agriculture, and industry.

 Microbial Diversity: classification and characteristics of diverse- 
microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, algae, and viruses.

Microbial Physiology and Metabolism: cellular structures, functions, and-
metabolic pathways that enable microorganisms to thrive in various
environments.

Genetics in Microbiology: basic principles of genetics in microorganisms-
alongside techniques for gene manipulation and expression.

Microbial Identification and Diagnostics: traditional and modern- 
diagnostic methods for identifying microorganisms, emphasizing
molecular techniques such as PCR and sequencing.

Biotechnological Applications of Microorganisms: the role of-
microorganisms in industrial processes, including fermentation and the
production of valuable metabolites.

Laboratory Techniques in Microbial Biotechnology: essential laboratory-
protocols, specialized equipment, and the importance of safety and
ethical considerations in the microbiology lab.
