دور الإنسان في نشر الآفات والأمراض وأخطارها في بيئة جديدة. تعريف الحجر الزراعي ووسائل تطبيقه. فعالية الحجر الزراعي، أمثلة هامة عن دوره   ونجاحه في الحد من انتشار الآفات والأمراض.

Role of man in dissemination of plant pests and Pathogens and their danger in new environment. Definition of agricultural quarantine. Some examples of its role and success in limiting spread of pests and diseases.

يهدف هذا المقرر إلى إعطاء فكرة عامة عن تعاريف الحجر الزراعي وأنظمته وقوانينه وعن أخطار دخول الآفات والمراض إلى بيئات جديدة مع إعطاء أمثلة ناجحة للحد من إنتشارها.

The objective of this course is to give a general idea regarding the definition of agric quarantine and its regulations and their risk to new environments, with examples of its success in limiting their spread.

مخرجات التعليم: (الفهم والمعرفة والمهارات الذهنية والعملية): يفترض بالطالب بعد دراسته لهذه المقرر أن يكون قادرا على:

المعرفة  اللازمة للتعامل مع آفات و امراض الحجر الزراعي و اعطاءه امثلة ناجحة لمنع دخول و انتشار هذه الآفات و الامراض.

This course is designed to give the student the knowledge of how to deal with agriculture quarantine pests and diseases by providing him with successful examples in preventing introduction and spread of these pests and diseases.

التعرف على قوانين الحجر الزراعي المختلفة وأهميتها.

Knowledge of the different agricultural quarantine regulations and their importance.

معرفة اهمية و دور المحاجر الزراعية في الحد من إنتقال الآفات بين الدول.

Knowledge of the role and importance of agricultural quarantine units in limiting dissemination of diseases and pests between different countries. 

استخدام الطرق و الاجهزة المناسبة للكشف و مكافحة الامراض و الآفات المصاحبة للشحنات الزراعية و التعامل معها حسب انظمة الحجر الزراعي في المحاجر.

Use of suitable methods and equipments for detection and control of pests and diseases associated with agricultural shipments and how to deal with them according to agricultural quarantine regulations.
