Course Outlines

Goals: This course aims at defining the corrosion principles, the forms of corrosion, consequences of corrosion in industry and corrosion control as well as how to measure corrosion using different electrochemical and gravimetrical techniques.

Objectives: Participants who complete the training course will attain the following objectives:

1. Provide an overview of corrosion definitions and principles.
2. The various forms of corrosion attack.
3. Corrosion measurements through measuring the corrosion rate and corrosion resistance.
4. How to control corrosion using different protection methods.
