Agriculture is one of the most important sectors needed to develop and come up with new solutions to provide quality consumption to the human as we save the environment from being harmed. One important factor in the success of the new Internet of Things (IoT) in aquaculture is controlled water quality conditions and fast response to the condition changes. In this research, we are evaluating the previous studies from different countries that apply IoT in aquaculture and compare it with the Saudi Arabia context. The rest of the paper we propose an IoT platform solution utilizing the cloud computing technology in aquaculture.
