Dr. Abdullah is a finance scholar and consultant whose work bridges academic rigor with real world financial practice. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Finance at King Saud University, College of Business Administration, where he teaches derivatives, financial risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate finance across the undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels. Holding a PhD in Financial Economics, he publishes in leading international journals on financial risk, derivatives, sustainability (ESG), and Islamic finance, and leads the development of a new Finance degree program. Outside the university, Dr. Abdullah advises company owners and executives on enterprise valuation, IFRS-aligned financial restructuring, due diligence, and shareholder buyout transactions, bringing the analytical depth of a financial economist to practical business decisions. As a consultant who works closely with management teams, he approaches each engagement with the perspective of an analyst who understands financial decisions not only in theory, but in the day to day reality of building and running a business. Across teaching, research, and consulting, his aim remains the same to turn complex financial problems into clear, confident decisions that leaders can act on.
