Valuation, Mergers & Acquisitions-EMBA 523

This course provides executive MBA students with a practical and strategic understanding of firm valuation and mergers and acquisitions (M&A), with emphasis on real-world decision-making in the Saudi business environment. Students will learn how companies are valued, why firms merge or acquire others, how deals are structured and financed, and how value is created or destroyed through M&A transactions. The course focuses on managerial judgment, strategic logic, and governance considerations rather than heavy mathematical modeling. Saudi and regional examples will be integrated throughout the course to enhance relevance and applicability.
