Occupaitonal Therapy

Right to Information Act , 2005 (RTI) of Indian Government is an effective tool to get information from government. This act can be effectively used by Occupational Therapy professionals to find the service delivery of occupational therapy in India. This study was done over a period of one year to seek information from different ministries of government of India about status of occupational therapy in various government institutions. The information received were forward to professionals and association for filling up vacant positions. This also asserted the government institutions like ESI to recruit Occupational Therapy professionals for the long pending vacancies. RTI is an effective tool and every professional must know about it and use it for effective service delivery of Occupational Therapy in India.
