The effectiveness of Suggested program in achieving the faculty members’ professional needs in the information age.

 As a result of introduce many of the radical changes in the charts of political , economic and education system and its methods in the developed world as the product of information technologies, which have transformed society into a knowledge – based society , the education now is education of information era. Then the educational institutions try to cope with the variables of this era, by shifting towards e-learning systems through activation educational technology and information to gain access to positive learning sense based on the cooperation strategies of quality, access and lifelong learning, drawing on a learning systems based networks and applications of  " Web 2.0 " which has content of the new techniques of Reality Digital, and which changed many of the form of the classroom by including new ways of communication between student and professor , and among students themselves , and made available , including the potential for knowledge management in learning environments of the Academy.  From this point each Faculty Members should develops and adjusts his/her professional performance and developed him self professionally and cognitively to cope with the age of informatics which based on computer technology and internet to enable him to meet the needs of his students and keep peace with this age by acting as facilitator for the Learning, Guide foe thinking , Academic Advisor and social leader.

  From Each of the above the researchers seek to establish a training program to meet the professional needs of the faculty members in the university , by identifying the professional needs of the faculty members in the information era from the point view of both faculty members and their students as partners in the educational community and the first stakeholders of its services, through E – questionnaire Emailed to the faculty members and their students in a number of Arab universities at ( Saudi Arabia – Jordan – Bahrain – Egypt – Qatar – Palestine – Oman ) , which contributed significantly to identifying a list of professional needs of faculty members in the university , then conceived to meet these needs through the construction of a proposed training program based on self – learning method which applied on voluntary sample of faculty members to measure the effectiveness of the program to meet their professional needs in the information era by using performance assessment monitor skills card to assess the gained skills which faculty members gained before and after undergoing the training program, and then make recommendations and proposals.
