Dr. Nabil Al-Zaqri is an associate professor in the Department of Chemistry at King Saud University. He has a Ph.D. from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, on “Hydrodesulfurization of Thiophenes Catalyzed by Polyoxometalates”. He is working on synthesizing, characterizing and studying inorganic nanomaterials and their applications, such as hydrogen production, renewable energy, and water and wastewater treatments through photocatalytic and electrocatalytic methods. Over the years, he has been actively working on exploring the industrial applications of these inorganic nanomaterials for green hydrogen production. He has published over 73 research articles on hydrogen production and renewable energy in high-impact journals. He has been named in the top 2% scientist list published by Stanford University in 2024 & 2025.
