PHG 323 = Complimentary & Alternative Medicine

This course describes traditional heritage that has been used as therapeutic treatments; then intellectually connect them with Complementary Alternative Medicine “CAM” and evidence-based studies; describing recent advances in their pharmacological actions and toxicities. Quality assurance aspects to the covered topics are explored according to the official monographs.
The current regulations of different CAM therapies in the country comparable to others are also discussed in this course. The course is updated regularly.
