I investigating the occurrence of Factor V Leiden gene mutation in Saudi Patients with Deep Vein Thrombosis in collaboration with King Fasil Hospital and Research center, Riyadh. From 2005 to 2008 I worked as a lecturer at College of Applied Studies and Community Service, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I then moved to the Biochemistry Department, College of Science, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 2008 to 2013. I then went on to obtained my doctorate in Structural and Molecular Biology from the University College London, London, in 2017. In London, I got used to the cold, rainy weather and learned to appreciated the sun! My research interests moved to computational side of Biology, where I have developed a novel coarse-grained molecular dynamics method for the accurate prediction of helix-helix interactions in GPCRs. Now, I have returned to King Saud University where I am a member of academic staff in the Biochemistry Department, College of Science.
