CV Text

During his undergraduate degree, he got many summer training in different companies with different scopes, such as Saudi-Bin-Ladin Group (SBG), Bank AlBilad, and Zain-Telecommunication company. From that, he was able to enhance and learn about:

  • Safety in the Construction Sites
  • Work Ethics
  • Communication Skills
  • Analyzing and Design building using SAP-2000
  • Programming languages, such as C, C++, and MATLAB.

After graduation, he worked for a few months at the Saudi Railways Company (SAR) as a civil engineer, where he could apply and deal with what he had learned in his undergraduate degree. He was responsible for the segment that connected AlQassim with Ha'il.
After his journey with SAR, he got a full governmental scholarship to complete his higher education. He chose one of the most prestigious universities, not just in the United States but also in the world, to complete his education at Purdue University. The ranking of the graduate program in Civil Engineering at Purdue University was between 1st and 6th among the other United States universities during 2016 and 2022, according to US News and World Report. During his years at Purdue, he learned to work with many researchers with different scopes. He also learned to conduct and enhance experiments in his field. His Ph.D. research was mainly focused on building a suitable 3D model to help transportation agencies make most of the infrastructure inspection procedures virtually through Linear Features Estimation and Extraction.
Now, he works as an assistant professor at King Saud University in the Department of Civil Engineering, where he can deliver what he has learned to the students. He will also have the chance to improve and learn new ways to teach either undergraduate or graduate courses and help conduct research that can facilitate his country to improve more and more in his field of interest.
