IE 339 Quality Engineering

This course aims to provide students with the knowledge and analytical skills necessary to solve manufacturing quality engineering problems and implement effective quality control systems. Topics include modern quality management and process improvement, the Six Sigma problem-solving methodology, process capability analysis, statistical models for quality improvement, and quality control charting techniques for variable and discrete manufacturing processes data, time-weighted control charts, and basic acceptance sampling procedures.
