Clinical Bacteriology II

CLS 413 or CLS 463 Clinical Bacteriology II (2 + 1 = 3 hours)

This course offers basic information on different types of Gram-negative bacteria belonging to the Enterobacteriacea family and Pseudomonas, Vibrio, Campylobacter, Bordetella, Brucella, Haemophilus, Spirochetes group and the anaerobic bacteria. The diseases caused by these organisms, clinical presentation, pathogenesis, modes of transmission, laboratory diagnosis, antibiotic susceptibility testing, prevention and control will be fully studied.
