Yasser Ibrahim is an assistant professor at the Social Science Computing Dept., Cairo Univ., Egypt. He is currently seconded to the department of MIS, King Saud Univ., KSA. He has a Ph.D. degree in Modeling Complex Adaptive Systems, from the department of Computer Science, Essex University, UK. His master degree was in Operational Research and his B.SC. was in Statistics, both from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, Cairo University, Egypt. At the professional level, he worked, amongst others, as a programmer, IT project manager, and IT consultant. His current research focuses on Artificial Immune Systems, Supply Chain Management, Traffic Congestion, and Social Norms.

The project aimed at awarding the accreditation for FEPS. My responsibilities included supervising and coordinating the implementation of whole project and implementing its main activities. I was a member of the team prepared the project proposal to the Ministry of Higher Education in Egypt (Sept. 2007 - Jan. 2008).

Manager of Computer Laps - FEPS, Cairo University, Giza, Egypt

Responsibilities included managing and running the computer laps for teaching and training as well as providing the technical support for the staff and the students. Responsibilities also include research projects, surveys, and consultation.

Responsibilities included designing and developing databases to support the surveys and research studies in the center.
