Brief description of the key learning outcomes for students enrolled in this course:
This course aims to familiarize the student with the basic concepts in statistics, the main tools and methods used in descriptive statistics, which are the methods of collecting, organizing and displaying data in tables, graphs, and geometric shapes, and making the necessary calculations to reach the various scales that highlight the basic characteristics of the phenomenon, such as measures of central tendency. , as well as measures of dispersion, and other measures that we will address in detail in the next section.
