Water and Wastewater Treatment

This course aims to introduce fundamental principles and current practices in water processing, municipal wastewater treatment, and sludge processing. Characteristics of surface and ground waters, municipal wastewater, concepts and design of different unit operations and processes for the treatment of water/wastewater are covered. Drinking water standards, wastewater reuse and disposal criteria, and properties of sludge generated from treatment processes are also discussed in this course
