BUS 545: Leadership for the Technology Driven Enterprise
According to the e-Business Master Program “the course teaches developing and balancing critical management competencies at all individual, team and organizational level. Focus on effective organization, motivation and leadership”. In addition, the course should start with discussing major theories on leadership. It covers fundamental concepts and activities that are strongly tied to technology driven enterprise.
The course is designed to help students refine and expand their current problem- solving skills; acquire new knowledge and advance their leadership abilities. You will complete this course better prepared to proactively plan – create and implement strategic initiatives – positioning your organization on the cutting edge of change and innovation; ready to assume a more challenging leadership role in the next decade.
Emphasis is given to manifestations of leadership in Technology centered enterprise setting, which by nature draw on business, political, sociological and psychological constructs and approaches. Likewise, leadership dynamics is closely tied to administration/management, governance and organizational theory.
