He currently serves as a Faculty Member at King Saud University (KSU), where he has been since November 2007. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he has taken on several administrative roles, including serving as the Dean of the Institute of Research and Studies at the Saudi Electronic University, the Vice Dean of Graduate Students and Scientific Research at KSU, and the Department Chairman at KSU.
Prior to his academic career, Dr. Alonazi held leadership positions in the healthcare industry, including serving as the Business Development Manager at King Fahad Medical City, the Providers Management Manager at Tawuniya Insurance Co., and the Manager of the Institute of Health Sciences.
Dr. Alonazi is known for his strong commitment to quality improvement and accreditation in both education and healthcare. He has played a crucial role in ensuring the highest academic quality and accreditation standards at KSU, collaborating with diverse experts to assess educational programs, institutions, and processes. As the Vice Dean of Quality and Development, he successfully led the accreditation efforts of four undergraduate programs and spearheaded the international accreditation of the entire College by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
