The description and sullabus of the course:
 
Title of the course
: Undergraduate research in Mathematics 
Credit Hours: 3 
This is an independent reading course. The student chooses a topic of his interest in Mathematics with the help of his adviser. He is expected to gather the necessary references to help him understand the topic. He then writes a report that reflects his understanding of the topic.  
Assessmehttp://facult.ksu.edu.sa/al-thukairnt: The report is graded by an examiner, in consultation with the adviser.  There is also an oral exam at the end of the semester attended by both, the examiner and the adviser where the student gives a talk describing the results in his report
