Tejraj M. Aminabhavi is Director of Research at School of Advanced Sciences, KLE Technological University, Hubballi, India and Diamond Jubilee Professor for life at Karnatak University, Dharwad, India in addition to Honorary Visiting Professor at Macquaire University, Sydney, Australia. Aminabhavi obtained PhD in polymer science from the University of Texas, Austin, Texas, USA; he has over 45 years of experience in academia, teaching, research and industry. He works in the area of membrane transport processes, molecular modeling of polymer surfaces, wastewater treatment technologies, drug delivery polymers and sustainable environmental engineering. Aminabhavi has published 900 scientific papers, three US patents, 20 book chapters and 100 review articles with 55000 citations and H Index (Google Scholar) of 115; presented 100 plenary talks and presentations at the International conferences in many parts of the world.  

Aminabhavi published a text book on “Introduction to Macromolecular Science” by Wiley, edited 9 books in drug delivery area published by Elsevier. Presently, he is the executive editor of Chemical Engineering Journal (Elsevier); founder editor-in-chief of Materials Science for Energy Technologies and Sensors International (KeAi Publishers, a joint venture with Elsevier) and is serving as advisory board member on several international journals. Aminabhavi received Nikkei Asia award in 2013 from Japan and Kwarizmi International Award from Iran in 2009; CIPET award in 2014 from ministry of fertilizers and chemicals, India. Aminabhavi is highly cited researcher listed top 1% from Clarivate Analytics (2021 and 2022) and he is third-ranked most cited chemist of India.  

 

Aminabhavi has travelled widely in France before and in United Kingdom as well as US. He is presently the active ARC member of CEFIPRA and is traveling in France seeking collaborations with French scientists. He has established active collaborations with Professor Michael Badawi. These activities will be continued under the planned activities between theirs teams
