I am a lecturer in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the College of Applied Medical Sciences, King Saud University. I hold a PhD in Physiotherapy in Sport from the University of Limerick, Ireland (2022), an MSc in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy (2011), and a BSc (Hons) in Physical Therapy (2000) from King Saud University, Riyadh. My research interests include preventing sports injuries, managing musculoskeletal conditions using the biopsychosocial model, and patient education. I have published research on injury risk and prevention strategies in women’s soccer and have over 20 years of clinical experience, specializing in paediatric neurology, adult orthopaedics, and cardiac rehabilitation. My expertise also extends to sport physiotherapy, where I have worked with female soccer players, focusing on injury prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. As a licensed physiotherapist by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, I am dedicated to advancing the field of physiotherapy. Additionally, I have been actively involved in teaching and administration, training undergraduate physiotherapy students, advising students academically, organizing internships, and co-founding the Early Intervention Unit for Disabled Children at the Ministry of Social Affairs.
