The course is for Ph.D. students, where they know about the recent advances in metabolism by targeting Warburg effect, lipid metabolism and protein metabolic pathways in cancers and other diseases. Also, peptidomimetics is taught to students so that they get to know the modifications done on peptide drugs to increase their bioavailability and efficacy. The course is important to train students for BCH 700 for their respective research fields in current research on metabolomics.
