Biography                        

Prof. Sultan Ayoub Meo is a medical graduate [MBBS] with higher postgraduate degree [M.Phil] and Doctorate [Ph.D] in Physiology. He is also a Fellow of Royal College of Physicians of Ireland [FRCP], Fellow of Royal College of Physicians of London, Glasgow and Edinburgh. In addition to achieve MBBS, M.Phil, Ph.D and FRCP of four Royal Colleges of UK and Ireland, he also obtained higher postgraduate Diploma in Medical Education, University of Dundee, Scotland UK.
Prof Meo has teaching experience of about 24 years and actively involved in undergraduate and post graduate teaching and supervising Ph.D candidates. He is author of 10 books and published 140 scientific papers in peer reviewed national / International prestigious bio-medical Journals. His area of interest in research is Respiratory Physiology, Diabetes Mellitus and Medical Education.
Prof. Meo served as an Associate Editor of International Journal of Diabetes Mellitus,  Editorial Board member of Saudi Medical Journal. Presently, he is an Associate Editor of BMC Medical EDucation. He has been also appointed as reviewer for many national / International peer reviewed scientific journals. Prof. Meo has been invited as a speaker to deliver talk in about 65 National / International conferences in different countries including Pakistan, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kingdom of Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, China, Turkey, United Kingdom and USA. Prof Meo has been invited as a Key Note speaker in the Second World Congress on Diabetes and Metabolism in Philadelphia USA.
