236 Najd Introduction to Linguistics (New Plan)

The course aims to introduce students to the study of linguistics by looking at:
- its five components(phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and pragmatics) and how these components interact with each other.
- first and second language acquisition.
- the disciplines that interface with language such as psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, neurolinguistics and computational linguistics.
