This course is designed to teach students about the origins of transcription activator-like effector nucleases (TALENs), Zinc-finger nucleases (ZFNs), and CRISPR-Cas-9 genome engineering technology, their applications to research and human health, and the ethical/societal considerations surrounding this powerful technology.
