Saleh Saeed Batais

مختصر السيرة الذاتية
Saleh Batais received his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in English language and literature from King Saud University (KSU) in Riyadh in 2001. About three years later, he was appointed teaching assistant at the Department of English Language and Literature at KSU where he taught several English language courses. In 2005, KSU awarded him a full scholarship to pursue graduate studies in the U.S. In the spring of 2007, Saleh earned his Masters of Arts degree in applied linguistics and TESOL from Indiana University-Bloomington. Immediately, in the fall of that year, he joined the doctoral program at the Department of Linguistics at the University of Florida-Gainesville. Soon after the completion of his doctorate in theoretical linguistics in the spring of 2013, Saleh returned home and served as assistant professor at the Department of English Language and Literature at KSU. In January 2020, he was promoted to associate professor.
