Principles and techniques involved in this course deal with the formulation, preparation and evaluation of solid dosage forms. The following main subjects are going to be covered: pharmaceutical powders including physical properties, flow characteristics, preparation of bulk and divided powders, tablets design and manufacturing, effervescent granules, capsule preparations, evaluation and manufacturing, and suppositories dosage forms including preparation and evaluation.
