EMBA 532 -Negotiation & Conflict Resolution

Survey of activities involved in Negotiation and conflict resolutions in business settings. Emphasis is on developing a managerial point of view in planning and evaluating decisions that requires Negotiation with stakeholders internally or externally. In the class, we will explore negotiating opportunities, become aware of how to effectively plan negotiations, examine differing negotiation styles, discuss proven negotiation tactics, research cultural differences, debate ethics in negotiations and practice negotiation skills.
This course creatively utilizes cases, role plays, and scenarios to help you build your skills and your understanding of negotiations and organizational conflict. You will be working one on one as well as in team negotiations, engaging in discussions, and accessing resources that will enhance your ability to navigate your way through complex situations
