I am Rasha, a microbiologist with over 10 years of experience in clinical and research settings. I hold two bachelor’s degrees in microbiology, one from the Faculty of Science at Al-Neelain University, Khartoum, Sudan, and the other from the Faculty of Medical Laboratory at Omdurman Islamic University, Omdurman, Sudan. I also have a master’s degree in microbiology from Omdurman Islamic University, Omdurman, Sudan and a PhD in microbiology from King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. My professional experience includes working as a lab technologist at Al-Riyadh Consultant Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where I was responsible for conducting chemical analyses of blood, urine, CSF, and other body fluids. I demonstrated proficiency in setting up, operating, and maintaining laboratory equipment, performing blood group and type tests, and cultivating, isolating, and identifying microorganisms for analysis, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. I have also worked as a lecturer at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where I taught undergraduate students about 12 different subjects related to biology and microbiology. I successfully established and managed the first bacterial bank in the College of Science, cataloging and preserving over 500 bacterial strains for research purposes. Since November 2019 until now, I have been working as a researcher at King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, conducting research in the fields of nanotechnology, medicinal plants, molecular docking, and microbiomes, Bioinformatics resulting in published research papers.
