STAT 215

The aim of this course is to introduce an introduction to distribution theory including:

• The basic probability theory.
•  Random variables, and the properties.
•  Some special functions of random variables: moment generating functions
•  Some known functions (discrete and continuous): the name of the distribution, the mathematical formula of its function, and some of its properties and applications.
•  The limit of a sequence of random variables.
