Patient Safety SKL 222

World Health Organization has recommended Patient Safety as a core curriculum for all health profession education, prevent the harm during patients care.
The course consists of eleven (11) topics that were adapted and modified from the WHO multi-professional patient safety curriculum.
The foundation knowledge and skills are to be covered in the year 2 course and the educational issues relevant to clinical practice are to be integrated in clinical courses. This course is essential to improve health care outcomes and also to fulfill patient safety and quality management objectives of the program.
