Dr. R.M. Abuhejail is an assistant professor of pharmaceutical analytical chemistry. I got my master's degree (from King Saud University) in the field of immunoassays development for anticancer agents' analysis. My Ph.D. from Nottingham University in the United Kingdom in the field of development of nanosensors for different analytes. My research interests involve the design, fabrication, and implementation of micro- and nanoscale sensors. These sensors can subsequently be employed, for instance, to conduct real-time measurements of biological samples. The research is primarily centred on optical nanosensors, which employ the sensitivity of fluorescence to perform quantitative assessments of analytes in biological systems. These nanosensor devices are generally ranging from 40 to 100 nm in diameter and possess the requisite smallness to be introduced into living cells with minimal physical disruption, thereby facilitating the monitoring of small molecule concentrations in individual cells. Additionally, I have a satisfactory experience in different analytical techniques. So, I have an adequate qualification to effectively make valuable contributions throughout all stages of the research process.
