Dr. Abdulrahman Alothaim has a Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Maryland, and a PhD degree in Information Technology from the University of Nebraska. He currently works as an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the College of Computer and Information Sciences, King Saud University. He is also the college representative for the distinguished and talented students’ program, attending to honors students’ issues and cultivating their talents and skills. Dr. Alothaim also works as a consultant in digital banking at Alinma bank.
Dr. Alothaim's research areas of interest include data science (deep learning and NLP) and artificial intelligence, crowdsourcing, electronic governments, digital transformation, and digital banking. Dr. Alothaim has supervised eight undergraduate-level and five master-level graduation projects.
Moreover, Dr. Alothaim is currently supervising two master theses students, and co-advising one master thesis and two PhD students.
