NUR 500: Nursing Research

The course is designed to provide the students with the basic knowledge about the research process in nursing field. It focuses on complex research designs and analysis of multiple variables. Emphasis will be placed on techniques for control of variables, data analysis, and interpretation of results. The inter¬relationship of theoretical frameworks, design, sample selection, data collection instruments, and data analysis techniques will be analyzed in depth. Content will be discussed in terms of clinical nursing research problems, Students will be required to design a nursing research proposal.
