Professional career span more than 12 years in research and teaching. The main research interest has been the management of pathogenic microorganism using ecofriendly approaches such as plant extracts, essential oils, nanoparticles and biocontrol agents. Besides that, involved in the research on the isolation, identification and characterization of plant pathogenic fungi, bio- control agents & plant growth promoting microorganisms and evaluating the antimicrobial activity of different natural products. Have published more than 50 research articles in peer reviewed journals and presented several papers in conference/symposium/workshop. Have done collaborative research with many colleagues and researchers of different universities. Apart from teaching undergraduate and graduate students, have supervised the research/thesis of undergraduate and graduate students. Have been the Co-investigator of the research groups funded by King Saud University.

Educational Qualification: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.).
 
Research interests: -
Management of pathogenic microorganisms using ecofriendly approach such as plant extracts, essential oils, nanoparticles and biocontrol agents.
Isolation, identification and characterization of plant pathogenic microorganisms.
Isolation of bio- control agents & plant growth promoting microorganisms from soils.

• Teaching botany and microbiology courses to undergraduate, Master and Ph.D. students.
• Supervising the research (thesis) of Master and Ph.D. students.
• Coordinator of academic accreditation committee of Botany Program (BSc, Girls’ section).
• Member of an academic accreditation committee of Botany Graduate Program (Girls’ section).
• Co-Investigator of a Research project funded by Deanship of Scientific Research, King Saud University, Riyadh, KSA.
