-        Full time Resident Ophthalmic Registrar in Mansoura Univ. Hosp. from June 3, 1979 to April 1, 1983.
-        Assistant Lecturer, Faculty of Medicine, Ophthalmic Department, Mansoura University, Egypt from 1983 to 1987.
-        Assistant Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, University of Mansoura, Egypt, from September 1987 to October 1992.
-        Associate Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, University of Mansoura, Egypt from October 1992.
-        Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Ophthalmology, College of Medicine, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from June 1992.
