Financial Markets and Institutions

Course Description: 
This course designed to enable the students to understand the existing financial markets, instruments and institutions. The first part of this course is the overview of financial markets. Th following chapters focuses in analysing specific financial markets (e.g. Money markets, and stock markets, the foreign exchange market) financial instruments (e.g.  stocks, bonds), and financial institutions (e.g. commercial and investment banks). In addition, it is expose them to the current developments taking place in financial markets.
