Translation Project (429 traj)

The course offers students one of the following two modalities:

1. A semester-long translation project of a written or spoken text. Students are required to do one of the following translation projects:

• Translate a specialized book (or part of a specialized book) of no less than 10000 words (about 40 pages long).
• Translate a specialized electronic content of no less than 10000 words (about 40 pages long).
• Translate and record a voiceover of a documentary film, the verbatim script of which should be no less than 5000 words (about 20 pages long)

     2. A practical training (field training) in translation at a translation institution/department of a public or private sector.
