Enzymology: The main purpose of this course is to: 1-To acquaint the students with biocatalysts i.e. enzymes and to appreciate the importance of enzymes in Biochemistry and in relation to life. 2- To understand the naming system and classification of enzymes. 3- To help students to appreciate the complex mechanisms by which enzymes increase the rate of reactions 4- To promote critical thinking about enzymes and their mode of action.
