Graduation Project #1:
Course description
This course focuses on both theoratical and practical analyses according to the nature of the selected project by each student. The analyses include the architectural design, interior design, urban design, building technologies, heritage and building conservation, and also project and construction managment. The centre of interest is on the following four significant stages:
- Project selection.
- Data-collection and defining the nature of the project.
- Defining the spatial and functional requirements.
- Studing the crucial points that influence the project.
Course Goals & Objectives
- Crystallising the area of interest.
- Applying theories of preparing the program of architectural projects.
- Defining the design problem and clarifying its various aspects.
- Defining the outline of the design of the project.
