Mohammad Salman Baig received his B.E. and M.Tech. degree in Electrical Communication from Visvesvaraiah Technological University (VTU), Bangalore, India, in 2006 and 2011 respectively. He obtained his Ph.D in Electrical Communication Engineering from King Saud University in May 2019.
From 2006 to 2008, he worked as a Software Engineer for 2 years at Tech Mahindra LTD., Bangalore, India. In 2011, he worked as a project Research Associate at the Microwave Lab, Electrical Communication Engineering department, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India. Since 2012, he has been working as a Researcher at King Saud University, Riyadh, K.S.A. His research interest includes optical communications, signal processing and communication systems
