Dr. Mohammed Safi received his Ph.D. from Howard University and is an ASHA certifies Speech Language Pathologist. His areas of expertise include the design and implementation of mentoring programs as well as the clinical management of individuals with neurogenic disorders, specifically dysphagia, acute traumatic brain injury, and stroke. Dr. Safi research seeks to investigate the benefits of Neuromuscular Stimulation for Orofacial muscles to assist dysphagia and dysarthria patients.
