Eng. 301 – Developments in Language Learning
This course explores developments in communicative language teaching Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) in addition to examining the two approaches in detail, content-based and task-based approaches. It also explores approaches to the application of CLT in language classrooms utilizing computer assisted language learning Computer Assessed Language Learning (CALL) techniques in learning and teaching. This course will also discuss multiple intelligences as a methodological innovation. Lastly, the course will present Computer mediated communication (CMC) illustrating on providing opportunities for language learners to practice their language.
