Risk assessment and regulation

This course focus on the systematic scientific characterization of potential adverse health effects resulting from human exposures to hazardous agents. Topics include: principles of risk analysis including risk assessment, uncertainty analysis, risk perception, risk communication and risk management. Emphasis on exposure measurement, epidemiology, human toxicology and ecotoxicology. The course will also cover laws and regulatory policy.
