Mehmood is currently working as a researcher in the Agricultural Extension and Rural Society department, King Saud University. He has completed his masters degree in Agriculture-Agronomy from University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan in 2013 and secured B.Sc. (Hons) from the same institute with Agronomy as major subject in 2011. He belongs to Chakwal district of Punjab province in Pakistan.
