In early 2004, I received a BSc in Speech Therapy and Audiology from King Saud University (Riyadh, Saudi Arabia), department of Rehabilitation Sciences after a year of internship. Then I worked in the private sector as an Audiologist for a few months; and then, in July 2004, joined the Rehabilitation Sciences Department at the same university I graduated from.
After working for three years, I was fortunate to be awarded a scholarship that then led me to The Human Communication
Sciences Department under the faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences at the University of Sheffield which had enabled me to learn and practice research that led to graduation with a MSc in Human Communication Sciences in 2009, followed by PhD in Human Communication Sciences in 2016.
I am currently a Consultant Speech and Language Pathologist in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, College of Applied Medical Sciences at King Saud University.
