Dr Ghanem obtained his PhD (1998-2002) from University of Southampton (UK) in field of synthesis, characterizations and applications of nanostructured materials. He spent 7 years postdoctoral researcher between Southampton and Bath University with Prof. Phil Bartlett and Frank Marken research groups. He joins KSU in 2012 as associate prof. of physical chemistry and his research interests focusing on nanomaterials, fabrication, characterization and applications, electrochemical methods, electro-catalysts, high throughput electrochemistry, surface modification, biosensors and nanotechnology. He published more than 60 papers, two patents and gave about 15 conference presentations. His h-index is 43 with 2288 total times of citation.
Concurrent Deposition and Exfoliation of Nickel Hydroxide Nanoflakes Using Liquid Crystal Template and Their Activity for Urea Electrooxidation in Alkaline Medium
Nickel hydroxide nanoflakes (Ni(OH)2-NF) were prepared by chemical deposition and in situ exfoliation of nickel hydroxide layers confined in the aqueous domain of the liquid…
