Experimental Pharmacology-PLH511
This course focus on the fundamentals of experimental pharmacology. The theoretical part of this course introduces different animal models used to study the effects of multiple drugs on different diseases, both in vivo and in vitro. The course covers various models and means available for measuring the parameters involved in conducting experiments. Besides, this course emphasizes and discusses aspects of preclinical and clinical assessment that pertain to research related to the central nervous system, cardiac system and cancer disease. The practical part of this course is built to support lecture material and technical skills. It applies various practice techniques using in vivo and in vitro models of multiple disorders such as cancer, alzheimer's, anxiety, depression, pain, hypertension, and cardiac hypertrophy.
