Practicum for Clinical Specialization

Supervised experience provided by each clinical specialty which will prepare the graduate student to function in the role of clinical specialist. Placement may be community settings, chronic and long-term care facilities as well as intensive care. Choice of setting is the student’s option.
            Typical of Universities worldwide, evaluation of teaching forms part of the University’s quality assurance process and is also one element in a triadic assessment for Academic Review. Hence, this course will focus on the integration of topics of specialties and evaluation of these topics in order for the master student to establish abilities of course construct starting with evaluation and ending with course objective measurement. This integration of topics of specialty and evaluation of teaching admit the master student to acquire the competency of teaching effectiveness and mastery of subjects’ specialty.
